Thursday was a bit overcast with quite a stiff, cooling breeze at times, a welcome change from the oppressive heat of the past few weeks. The sea was quite rough and there were bits of red cloth on poles fluttering in the wind at the beaches, although no-one appeared to be taking any notice of them.
Only the second one I have seen in Nerja and the first on the Balcón de Europa. Wonder how long it will remain there?
The kebab place at the top of calle Málaga, Nerja, has gone. Didn’t last very long.
Maybe the change of weather riled some mozzies ‘cos they certainly took some chunks out of me.
It seems that the Ministry of Environment is still only at the stage of studying whether another company could be allowed to continue the work on the sewage plant or whether the existing contract has to be rescinded and a new tender process initiated. The Central Government has apparently already acknowledged that the plant will definitely not be completed this year, not that anyone ever really expected it would be.
