I decided to call this one ‘5 a Day in a Dinghy’, a delightful pastry filled with fruits. Salvador bakery, €2.50 for coffee and pastry.
Nice smooth, creamy and very tasty chocolate cake with a cherry on top, washed down with a coffee at Salvador on calle San Miguel, Nerja. Just €2.75.
Getting your ‘five a day’ is important and here is one way to do it.
Silky smooth and creamy white chocolate with raspberries, another delicious offering at Salvador bakery on calle San Miguel, Nerja. At €2.75 for coffee and cake, still the best value around.
I couldn’t resist returning to Salvador for another of their delicious offerings, this time a fruity item which I had spotted on my previous visit and had made a mental note to try it. I was not disappointed, and for €2.75 for cake and piping hot coffee you can’t go wrong. OK, so it’s a paper plate and a styrofoam cup, but it doesn’t affect the two main considerations, taste and value for money. It is, of course, ostensibly a take-away service, so what else would you expect?
Salvador bakery on calle San miguel, Nerja – home of the tastiest and best value croissants in town – always have an array of delicious looking cakes and pastries but, for some reason far beyond the comprehension of man. I had never sampled their delights. Until today, that is, when I decided this unfathomable oversight warranted immediate correction.
