I can report that the new Los Barriles on calle San José is still packing them in, even at this time of the year, and Rafa and Carmen are still serving their trademark chorizo al infierno and I have a very out of focus picture to prove it!
Still fairly lively in the evenngs, a bit cooler which is no bad thing. There was an excellent duo singing in Plaza Cavana, great vocal harmonies, and there was even one couple having a little dance on the Balcón de Europa.
Summer nights in Nerja are quite vibrant – and we have the all night Fiesta Blanca on El Salon beach coming up on Sunday – so off I went for a meander through town, camera in hand of course.
Only one terrace in Plaza Cavana, Nerja, at the moment, complete with heaters of course. Despite there being snow on some of the hills today and the evening temperatures being quite low, there are still a fair number of people wandering around in shorts. Often with a thick jacket, but not always.
Very quiet at this time of year in places like Plaza de la Ermita in Nerja, nothing much happening day or night.
Ice cream is very popular at night during the summer, queues often forming at the numerous parlours.
We now have atmospheric lighting on Calahonda beach, one of the smaller beaches in the centre of Nerja, the colours constantly changing.
