The latest chatter about the sewage plant is that work was due to restart a month ago, but no sign of any action so far.
Reports today suggest that the six month testing period could begin in November 2018, but that is reliant on things getting a bit of a move on of course. The actual plant may be nearly complete, but work has hardly started on the difficult bits, the pumping stations required to transport the waste up the hill.
In addition it seems that, as usual, not everything was included in the original project. Although most of the attention has been focussed on the main Burriana and Torrecilla/El Chucho outfall areas, a further eight sites were reportedly omitted for whatever reason. Whichever way you look at things it is nothing more than a shambolic disgrace.
