It was shorts and T-shirt weather today, not even chilly in the shade, and one person was even swimming. You should be able to spot him in the first photo.
The flower beds along the paseo Balcón de Europa are being tidied up – nearly all existing plants removed – as part of the big ‘clean-up’ of the area which began with the water-blasting of the central tiles the other day. Hope they clear the rubbish from the ledges at the side of the Balcón as well as clear out the cannon barrels. Why people feel the need to cram rubbish down the barrels when there are loads of bins is beyond me, but they do. Same as hurling rubbish over the sides.
