The PP has lost its absolute majority in Nerja, gaining 10 of the 21 seats available.
There is some strange talk that there could possibly be a quadripartite coalition of PSOE (6), IU (2), Ciudadanos (2) and EVA-Podemos (1).
This, of course, would be a travesty and a betrayal of those who voted for the new parties. They presumably did so to get change, not to see them join with either of the two major established parties to make it ‘business as usual’.
Better a minority government kept in check by the newer, smaller parties.
