Quite a wet week – enough is enough – and now we seem to be alternating between clear skies and overcast/rain. Meanwhile, the sewage plant saga appears to have become a bit of a media war between the various levels of government as they play the ‘blame game’ for the continued paralysation of work on the project.
Work was supposed to restart after the October feria but no sign of activity yet. If they could channel all that energy and time being wasted deciding whose fault everything is, things would be much better. Politicians of all hues should be hanging their heads in shame and working together to resolve the matter in the shortest possible time. Obviously four decades wasn’t enough time to prepare for the project and make sure there would be no technical or administrative issues which would hinder progress.
First of the month and it was exceptionally quiet around town, although the weather may have played its part
There is an ecological market on Sunday in the Sala Mercado (Plaza de la Ermita), originally announced as being on the Balcon de Europa but now transferred to an indoor location. Probably a wise move considering the current weather forecast.
Tents are going up in Plaza Cavana, presumably the Christmas Market.
