Bumper bundle on a sunny Sunday
Sunday was an absolutely spiffing day for a waddle down by the river, the sun with its hat on and just about everything coming out to play: Black Redstarts, Blackbirds, Chiffchaffs, Serins, Wagtails, Lizards, Doves, Spotted Flycathers and an Egret. The only thing missing, strangely, were the usually numerous Goldfinches.
The Egret was quite far away and flew off before I could get closer.
