Wildlife in the Slow Lane
This is the final post from my walk yesterday at Moor Green Lakes. There are always lots of small birds there, partly because it is an excellent mixed habitat and partly because they have two well stocked feeding areas in the winter, one in the car park and one further down next to the lake. Here are a few of the photos I took, starting with a female Greenfinch.
and some nice colourful male Chaffinch
followed by a Geat Tit, Blue Tit , Coal Tit and Long-tailed Tit.
Even the Nuthatch visits the seed feeders.
While in the hide, I spotted a lovely Reed Bunting quite close among the reeds so took a couple of photos and a very short video.
