I do enjoy travelling on the local trains – Cercanias – and they are still very reasonable value. Prices have gone up quite considerably in the past few years but you can still get from Málaga to Fuengirola – and back – for around seven euros.
You see them all over the world, but this one is in Málaga. Hop on-hop off, a great way to get an idea of what a city has to offer, maybe note down places for later – or a future visit. Or go round slowly, hopping on and off. City Sightseeing Malaga

And over the cobbles we go! The bridge is, however, due to be changed from cobbles to asphalt (at some stage, you know what it’s like in Spain) following a ‘popular vote’ in which 88 people participated – 77 voting for asphalt, 7 for the existing cobbles and 4 who couldn’t care less).
