A fairly short Feria procession made its way through the streets of Nerja on Tuesday with the newly elected Feria Queen adorning one of the floats.
It doesn’t appear to have been covered by the local press but one of the quaint fishermen’s cottages burned to the ground on Sunday night. Shame, and now another eyesore along with the derelict old Papagayo restaurant.
The annual Feria, longer this year, is in full swing with things happening on the Balcón de Europa, Plaza España and at the feria ground itself. All very colourful.
Sea mists roll in pretty quickly and this morning was no exception.
It was the first time I had seen a peanutty cake in Anahi, Puerta del Mar, so just had to try it. Very creamy top layer with whole – well, half – peanuts embedded in it, very tasty and very filling as one might expect.
